The Holidays are fast approaching, and everyone is getting in on the action, it would seem, with this silly remix of Let it Snow as a Star Trek Christmas song. YouTuber James Covenant has released a video using clips from Star Trek The Next Generation and some very precise editing to generate a new version of the Christmas standard, Let it Snow.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew all pitch in with the lyrics, and the result is a funny in-joke laced interpretation of the carol. The most prominent joke is the replacement of ‘let it snow’ with Picard’s trademark ‘make it so’ and Picard telling the young (and much hated in the fandom) Wesley Crusher to shut up when he tries to chime in on the song. This Star Trek Christmas remix is a great and inventive twist on the original and bound to become a favorite this holiday season.
