This holiday season, artist Christine McConnell decided to give the home of her parents a spooky Christmas makeover by decorating it with some custom-made decorations inspired by a classic fairy tale.
This eerie redesign is made to look like the candy-infused witch's lair from the story Hansel and Gretel. McConnell used a combination of foam core insulation board, paint and some patience to create realistic-looking candy cane columns and ginger bread gravestones to decorate the home. Nylon rope was also strung across the house's roof the recreate the look of icing.
This actually isn't McConnell's first stint in elaborate decoration. Before embarking on this spooky Christmas stunt, the artist has previously decorated this very same house for Halloween to look like a frightening monster as well.
