Soda-Flavored Candy Chews

Hi-Chew's 'Fizzies' Boast Real Cola Flavors and an Effervescent Texture

Hi-Chew is expanding its collection of soft, chewy candies with the launch of 'Fizzies,' a new kind of soda-flavored candy that has a slightly effervescent texture.

These candies inspired by classic soda fountains boast real cola and orange soda flavors, as well as hints of vanilla and cherry. With the release of these new flavors, Hi-Chew hopes to appeal to both kids and adults alike with nostalgia. As Morinaga America, Inc. COO Norio Otsuki puts it: "Everyone has a childhood memory associated with soda, and we thought it would be fun to bring those memories to life in a new way through Hi-Chew."

These soda-inspired candies launched at the Sweets & Snacks Expo 2017 are one of several new products that embraces a crossover flavor and a bold texture.
