This year's Snickers Super Bowl ad travels back to 1955 to the set of The Seven Year Itch, where Marilyn Monroe filmed her iconic scene over a NYC subway grate.

The advertisement opens with Willem Dafoe in Monroe's white dress, heels and jewelry, who offers up many complaints about the stunt before a member of the film crew offers him a Snickers bar. After taking a bite of the chocolate candy bar, Dafoe completely transforms into another person—the true Marilyn Monroe that audiences know and love.

Using old and new Hollywood icons, the commercial effectively supports the brand's 'You're Not You When You're Hungry' campaign. The ad spot also features a cameo from Eugene Levy, who sneaks in at the end to say: "This thing will never make the cut."
