The Sliverlight House located in London, England along the Grand Union canal makes use of limited space in the crowded city. The home offers over 6,000-square footage in a sleek, minimalist and modern contemporary design.
Adjay Associates were the team that put together the Silverlight House that makes use of the space and surrounding areas to create a fully functional home. The house is situated by a busy Victorian pub and busy street traffic so the design has a limited number of windows to minimize the noise pollution. However, to compensate for the lack of openings the structure features aluminum cladding in the design to keep the space full of as much natural light as possible as London is often rainy and gloomy in weather.
