This unique architecture boasts a slanted attic, that from the outside appears to have been cracked and tipped downwards. When looking straight at the home's exterior, the top windows are on a diagonal, creating a unique modern aesthetic beside its surrounding flat-topped residences.
The house was designed for architect Marc Koehler's mother -- at first as an investment. However, she loved it so much she kept it for herself. The inside is even more intriguing than the exterior and features a spiraling staircase leading up to a wood-paneled slanted attic that houses the master bedroom. The flow was designed so that there are open spaces to socialize in as well as private enclaves to escape within.
