Sharad Haksar's 'Crush' photo set is a study in artful destruction. Haksar has, well, crushed a number of things and then photographed them, from crayons to corn, cans, and pens.
It's amazing what beauty can come from such aggression. Each of the subjects Sharad Haksar photographs for 'Crush' takes on a whole new identity once it's been smashed--the crayons, light bulb and pen in particular.
Implications - 'Crush' by Sharad Haksar is brilliant because it plays with one of my favorite concepts: destructions. I have always thought that there is a great amount of beauty in destruction; I only wish that I could have used that idea to create something as remarkable and creative as 'Crush' by Sharad Haksar.
