As part of the Starbucks Japan Wonder Project, Starbucks Japan is introducing various beverages that connect consumers to different parts of Japanese culture and its newest addition to the series takes the form of two sesame seed beverages.
The new beverages—the Goma Goma Goma Latte and Frappuccino—are based on ancient calligraphy, as well as "goma," the Japanese word for sesame. This inspiration is most apparent in the Goma Goma Goma Frappuccino, which boasts inky swirls of black sesame sauce in white milk. This pair of drinks from Starbucks Japan offers an exploration of toasty black, white and gold sesame seed flavors.
Previously, Starbucks Japan unveiled a Roasted Green Tea Frappuccino in the Starbucks Japan Wonder Project, which payed homage to Kaga Bo Hojicha green tea from the Kaga Domain.
