While a cup or a mug is generally involved in the process of serving coffee, Portland's Saint Simon does things a little differently; when it comes to presenting cold-brewed Coava coffee to patrons, Saint Simon makes it an exceptional experience.
The experience involves a set of four iced bottles that are displayed on a small rack, filled with a block of ice at the bottom. Once this has been set up, a barista uses a steel funnel to pour different cold-brewed coffee samples into each of the icy bottles for tasting.
Following a sampling of three select cold-brew varieties like Coava’s Latin America Blend, Costa Rica Los Nacientes or Coava’s Kilenso Ethiopia, the last vial on the rack filled with ice-cold sparkling water is to be used as a refreshing palate cleanser.
