Sephora is changing two of its current New York retail locations into Sephora Beaut TIP concepts, where "TIP" stands for "Teach, Inspire, Play."
These workshop concepts will be places where consumers may come to have one-on-one makeovers and try out gadgets from the world of beauty, such as the Sephora + Pantone Color IQ technology for picking out the perfect shades of makeup. Other ways that consumers may find the right products for themselves include using Tap and Try technology for lip and lash products, as well as the InstaScent studio for fragrances.
Some of the other high-tech equipment that will be available for use include moisture meters to measure skin, virtual artist technology on iPads and skin diagnosis touchscreens.
More unique in-store features that will be offered include gifting and mobile POS stations, in-store workshops and the exclusive Anastasia Brow Studio.
