La Colombe, known for the innovative technology and packaging introduced with its Draft Latte, is now introducing self-heating coffee cans. This new offering from the coffee chain combines the convenience of a grab-and-go canned beverage with the comfort of a hot coffee. As it stands, the self-heating beverages are only available at the chain's flagship location and can reach a temperature of 130 degrees in two minutes thanks to packaging by HeatGen.
To enjoy hot coffee in a can, users only need to twist the bottom of the packaging, wait a few minutes, then shake the container and pull the tab on the lid. The self-heating coffee beverages are currently available in two options: black or milk with sugar.
La Colombe sees that these beverages will be especially appealing to outdoor enthusiasts who love activities like winter camping and hiking.
