Blue Evolution recently introduced the world to its range of superfood seaweed pasta products at this year's Natural Products Expo East.
Blue Evolution's line includes a line of pastas and seasoning products that make use of seaweed grown on the company's on-shore farms. This assortment includes rotini, penne and shells that feature a blend of wheat and seaweed. As such, the noodles have a bright green color, although cheese sauces may be added to make the noodles no different than most boxed pasta products that are to be coated in a covering of cheese.
As well as becoming recognized a standalone flavor in its own right, seaweed is emerging as a flavorful, mineral-rich addition to a range of food products.
