Recreating Iconic Portraits

Sean Lennon Poses as John Lennon for French Purple Fashion

The new Fall/Winter 2009-2010 issue of French Purple Fashion magazine features a recreation of the iconic John Lennon and Yoko Ono image that was used as a Rolling Stone cover.

John’s son, Sean Lennon, and model Kemp Muhl reverse the nudity roles, however. Sean takes the place of Yoko Ono, and Kemp poses naked.

The new image was shot by famed photographer Terry Richardson. But it’s not the only eye-catching image in the new issue of Purple Fashion, you can also see male model Baptiste Giabiconi posing naked as a woman in heels by Karl Lagerfeld.
