French illustrator Sylvain Sarrailh is continuing to expand upon 'BADASS,' a series that depicts scary cartoon characters. These new drawings include some terrifying renditions of Disney characters like Ariel, who appears as half mermaid, half anglerfish, a morbid trio from The Lion King and Bambi with his forest friends mangled in his horns.
Other cartoon characters from TV like Dora the Explorer, the Smurfs and the Powerpuff Girls are also turned into more violent versions of themselves.
Sarrailh also turns the characters from the addictive Angry Birds app into realistic animals, clearly making the rivalry between the birds and the pigs known. These twists on the classic characters really does make them seem much more badass.
