Sapling Spirits, a London-based spirit maker specializing in sustainable production practices, has added an eco-friendly line of British gin to its range. Unveiled during the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition, the 'London Dry Sapling Gin' is 40% ABV and will be made available for purchase this coming January.
Adhering to Sapling Spirits' sustainable mission statement, this new gin spirit is made using local ingredients in an effort to reduce harmful transportation emissions. Moreover, the gin is distilled using Wildfarmed’s stone-milled wheat, which is grown via regenerative farming practices.
Further adding to the company's green mission, Sapling Spirits has pledged to plant one tree for every bottle of 'London Dry Sapling Gin' sold. The planting projects take place throughout the United Kingdom -- so far, the company has already planted 23,306 trees.
