Fishpeople offers a range of meal-centric seafood products but at this year's Natural Products Expo East it is unveiling a line of salmon jerky to venture into the snacking category.
The Wild Alaskan Salmon Jerky is offered in four flavors, Rainbow Peppercorn, Sweet and Smoky Original, Lemon Zest and Herb, as well as Ancho Chili Lime, providing 24 grams of protein per bag with just six grams of sugar and no artificial flavors or preservatives. While many conventional jerky products have become unappealing to consumers who are looking for healthy snacks, these fish jerky strips are rich in omegas and gluten-free.
As with all of its products, Fishpeople spotlights sustainable, wild-caught fish and a "ridiculously transparent" approach to transparency; with the Wild Alaskan Salmon Jerky, consumers are able to trace the fish back to the very fisherman who harvested it.
