Electronic puppies were the stars of Kia's Super Bowl LVI commercial for the all-electric Kia EV6 and the Robo Dog can now be owned as an NFT. The generative Robo Dogs each have their own breed, size, age gender, coat length and color, and there are some that are rarer than others. These Robo Dog NFTs can be found on the Sweet NFT platform.
90% of proceeds from the NFTs will be donated to the Petfinder Foundation for the purposes of aiding animal charities. The remaining 10% will be embedded in a smart contract so that donations can still be made whenever the NFTs are resold elsewhere.
Collectors who were among the first to grab Kia’s free Adoption Passes also got first access to the Robo Dog NFTs.
