The Alvarado House is Conservative Up Front But Modern At the Back

Architecture firm Terry & Terry renovated the 'Alvarado House' to make it entirely beautiful and deceptive with retro modern architecture. With a conservative and boring front, the house looks like any other. Anybody driving by would not think anything of it. However, swing around to the back and the modest house reveals its secret. A modern design full of glass and wood fills the entire backside of the house. The interior of the house reflects the same modern design.

The 'Alvarado House' was originally a building with an entirely Victorian architecture. However, Terry & Terry designed an entirely new back portion with more rooms, a patio and tiled stairs. In addition, the architectural firm added a modern kitchen, light-filled bedrooms and outdoor desks.
