Miami's New Restaurant and Lounge Celebrates Jamaican Culture

A new restaurant and lounge in Miami brings the essence of Jamaican culture to life with dual dining experiences that shift from day to night. Designed by Andreas De Camps in collaboration with FictionWorks, this space effortlessly transitions from the bright, fast-casual vibes of 'Jrk!' to the intimate, speakeasy-style allure of 'Mangrove.'

By day, Jrk! serves as a lively eatery offering build-your-own bowls, fresh pastries, and authentic Jamaican breakfast patties served through a charming 'patty window.' The space is illuminated by handcrafted rattan fixtures, mustard-toned tiles, and lush greenery that mirrors the island’s vibrant spirit.

At night, Mangrove transforms the atmosphere with its eclectic mid-century modern design. A zinc-topped bar with emerald domino detailing, vintage decor, and soft amber lighting sets the stage for cocktails like the signature 'Pass the Dutchie.' A curated gallery wall and cascading plants complete the nostalgic, community-focused ambiance.
