Upon revealing her new Paris showroom, designer Alberta Ferretti has also unveiled a line of regal gowns belonging to her Spring '16 Evening Collection.
While her Resort 2016 line showcased a more relaxed and travel-inspired aesthetic, this collection mirrors the royal, romantic and dramatic look of the 1860 Pairs townhouse, which stands next to the relocated Alberta Ferretti boutique. Capturing the room's ornate moldings, dazzling chandeliers and 19th century gilded panels, this collection features regal gowns that offer all the romanticism of the Renaissance.
White dresses complete with tulle frills are fit for a contemporary bride while floor-length ball gowns are highly decorative with rich embroidery and floral garland paintings. These regal gowns also feature flowing chiffon pieces with lace embellishments in a dainty and cool color palette.
