The Red Swing Project boasts both random but fantastic characteristics. Andrew Danziger started with an idea to just see what would happen if he put some red swings up in various places and it turned out better than he could have ever imagined.
What does a street in Thailand, a temple in India and your local park have in common? They probably have swings sitting there waiting to be swung on. The Red Swing Project was a project born out of curiosity that blossomed into something much bigger. After Hurricane Katrina, Danziger set up some swings in New Orleans and while the purpose was still art, the swings were viewed as a signal of hope amongst ruins. Sometimes it truly is the simple things that make all the difference.
