California’s wine country is architecturally embellished by this gabled red cedar home by Field Architecture. Dubbed the ‘Zinfandel House,’ the structure is beautifully integrated into the Napa Valley as its appearance takes cues from the region.
The project called for a dwelling that is peaceful and spacious. The Palo Alto-based architects worked alongside Shawback Design. While the contemporary stylized interior definitely contributes with a homey rustic component, the warmly nuanced exterior of the red cedar home seamlessly integrates the structure within the narrative of the environment.
Characterized by light-filled and airy rooms, the Zinfandel House will prove to be a nice dwelling, where its owners can achieve a level of peace and quiet.
