Spicy rolled tortilla chip brand Takis teamed up with TerraCycle to launch the Takis Snacks Free Recycling Challenge for back-to-school season to engage students, teachers, and communities in contributing to a cleaner environment and get rewarded for participating.
From August 19th to November 18th, the challenge invites people of all ages to download a free shipping label, and send Takis Snacks packaging to TerraCycle for free. The top three schools that recycle the most will claim grand prizes like a garden bed, compost bin, flower planters made from recycled materials, and Takis x TerraCycle collection boxes. Branded merch is also up for grabs through this recycling challenge, including back-to-school staples like backpacks, pencil cases, friendship bracelets, and plenty of snacks.
