A new billboard that's attempting to demonstrate the importance of strong cyber security has appeared in the United Kingdom, and displays real-time hacking attempts.
This real-time billboard was created by the U.K insurance company Hiscox and developed with the help of the creative agency AMV BBDO and Grand Visual. The billboard's main intention was to inform small business owners of the frequency of these cyber attacks, as often these types of companies are more vulnerable. The billboard displays a red pulsing dot every time the server detects a cyber attack, with an average of 23,000 attempted hacks per day and an estimated 1 in 3 small businesses having experienced an attempted security breach.
