In an effort to cater to the growing number of consumers looking for products with clean ingredient labels, the popular condiment brand Hellmann's has debuted what it is calling 'REAL Ketchup Sweetened only with Honey.'
Hellmann's new REAL Ketchup is a paired-down, 'cleaner' version of the classic tomato-based condiment. Instead of a lengthy ingredient list, the new ketchup is made from just six easily-identifiable ingredients: tomato puree, wine vinegar, honey, spices, onion powder, and salt. This means that the ketchup contains no artificial ingredients, preservatives, or GMOs. The use of honey also means that the ketchup is still has a slightly sweet taste, but without the addition of high fructose corn syrup.
Hellmann's REAL Ketchup is now available in 14-ounce, 20-ounce, and 32-ounce bottles at retailers across the US.
