Over the years, there are many ready-to-eat egg products that have been launched for the convenience of consumers, most of them taking the form of pre-peeled hard-boiled eggs. Now, Brusco is introducing a new take on this idea with its ready-made soft-boiled eggs.
The eggs are packaged in environmentally friendly cellulose containers, which can easily be opened to reveal two sections, including one to hold bread for dipping.
As an innovation for the food service industry in the UK, these eggs can be quickly and easily prepared in large batches. The soft-boiled eggs may be prepared in either thermo contact ovens for 35 minutes or as little as 15 minutes in a pulsed air dry oven. As Brusco’s Andrew Ashby puts it: "It will offer them the option of serving a popular dish quickly and consistently without wasting time on fiddly preparation."
