Knowing that consumers who have cut the cord value convenience, choice and flexibility, Rabbit TV will soon merge popular subscription and free streaming services in one easy-to-watch platform.
Freecast's Rabbit TV Media Aggregation Platform (MAP) will consolidate paid video-on-demand content with what's available for free on the web. This new offering was developed to provide alternative sources of entertainment for consumers who don't find the movie or TV show they're looking for on Netflix or Hulu.
By collecting a variety of videos, streaming channels, live events and radio stations, the idea is that consumers would be able to receive one monthly bill reflecting the content consumed. Freecast CEO William Mobley says that "The consumer simply wants to pick and pay for their own bundle of channels from an online emulation of what they had with cable, and on at least three or four device types. We can accomplish this for the consumers and major media networks with our Media Aggregation Platform."
