VR Bus Shelter Spas

This Public Bus Stop Uses Virtual Reality to Come to Life as a Swimming Pool

In order to make its presence known, Budapest Spas created a unique advertisement using a public bus stop.

The roadside bus shelter is styled to look like a swimming pool, but sets itself apart from static ads by using virtual reality. In order to make people waiting at the stop feel as though they're truly immersed in water, VR glass panels were used alongside an aquarium filled with water. In order to encourage people to marvel at the installation and share it with others, one side of the public bus stop features cutouts for faces where the people of Budapest can pose for photos.

The dynamic bus shelter advertisement could inspire a range of other promotions using VR glass.
