The Project Manila Drawing VS. Camera Concept is Awesome

Inspired by Ben Heine's Pencil vs. Camera project, these local Filipino artists come together for a drawing and photography-combined piece called the Project Manila Drawing VS. Camera collection. Comprised of sketches drawn by Sol Palakol, Lala Torres and Mots, and pictures shot by Raffy Parcon, the project portrays scenes in the Filipino capital of Manila. With monsters appearing from nowhere, human caricatures on buildings, flying piggy banks and letters with wings, the series is tons of fun to flick through.

Project Manila Drawing VS. Camera is an awesome way to look at the various familiar spots in the urban districts of the Philippines combined with a humorous sense of artistry which bridges the gap between reality and fantasy.
