Appleton Estate is Updating its Premium Rum to Celebrate its Roots

Appleton Estate's premium rum is undergoing an update to celebrate the brand's continued pursuit of excellence. The Jamaican Rum brand is the oldest continuously run rum distillery in the country. The company announced the launch of its updated and new super-premium 15-Year-Old Black River Casks rum, crafted by Master Blender Joy Spence.

Inspired by the Black River in Jamaica's Nassau Valley, the new rum pays homage to the region. The river's waters flow from the spring, which sources the limestone-filtered water used to create Appleton Estate's rum. Thus, the new update acts as a thank you to the land for providing the company with its resources. Aromas of toasted almond and delicate hazelnut inform the premium rum, followed by notes of orange peel, rich vanilla, roasted coffee, and molasses for a cream finish.
