The Jomon Doki Doki Cooker takes inspiration from Jomon-style pottery, a type of ancient earthenware pottery that is distinguished by patterns that are pressed into clay. Specifically, the piece takes inspiration from the Kaengata Doki and serves as a replica of this museum artefact.
With the Jomon Doki Doki Cooker, users are able to place their Cup Noodle inside the ceramic container and cover it with the decorative lid, which includes a place to store one's chopsticks. Only 15 of the limited-edition eating accessories have been produced by Nissin and are priced at ¥60,000, which is equivalent to about $530.
