To follow the success of its award-winning Pie Face (which was named the 2016 game of the year by the Toy Industry Association) and sequel Pie Face Showcase, Hasbo is now launching a third iteration of the pie-in-the-face game called 'Pie Face Sky High.'
This newest version of the game was recently showed off at the New York Toy Fair, featuring a taller, kid-sized standing frame that is reminiscent of carnival games that must be struck with a mallet.
Like the previous versions of this game, one player puts their face behind the contraption in position to be pied—which may or may not happen based on if the mechanism is triggered. The new form of this game adds an extra element of fun and surprise that kids will delight in, especially if they are the ones using the mallet.
