What began as an April Fool's joke turned into reality, with the wild idea of a Pickle Eegee's evolving into a real product that customers can now purchase.
Although a pickle-flavored frozen drink was announced as a prank on April 1st, many fans of the brand expressed their interest in this flavor becoming a real offering. "Of course it was a joke, but the response we got to that joke was shocking, after countless of comments, emails and calls about us really creating a pickle Eegee, we started testing one immediately," said Eegee's Creative Director Gabriel Oropeza.
This limited Flavor Pop run was available for fans to savor for a short time during a limited run from July 26th through the end of the month, and it could be customized with Munchees toppings like Tajín and chamoy.
