One of the weirdest websites that I have encountered, PetPloyee, is dedicated to finding jobs for your animal. PetPloyee contains postings for jobs that include online puppy/dog modeling and online cat/kitten modeling.
On PetPloyee, there is also an outside/sales job for dogs that states “Dogs will have to be able to walk at least one hour a day, and be in good physical condition to promote PetPloyee.â€
Implications - In today's competitive job market, many consumers are looking to a number of different industries to try and find work. Companies should not underestimate many individuals' desire to work in unconventional fields of employment. Businesses would be wise to consider these various options and create either products or services that address these needs.
