Mindy Kaling and T.J.Maxx are launching The Change Exchange pen-pal program to help women connect with one another, based on a finding from The Maxx You Project that reveals one in two women desire "access to other women." The letter-writing program was conceptualized to help women make connections and give and receive support as they go through change.
Interested participants are able to sign up for the program online and fill out a short questionnaire to be matched with a pen pal. From there, they'll get the option to send digital letters via the exchange portal, or opt to receive a stationery kit for sending physical letters in the mail. This program is free of charge and it promises to support countless women, especially during a time when people are easing out of isolation and finding themselves eager to make new friends.
