California-based brewery Golden Road Brewing has added a new tropical beer flavor to The Wolf Pack line: the Passion Wolf Hazy IPA.
The light and refreshing passion fruit-flavored beer joins the brewery's Hazy Pup IPA and Wolf Pup Session IPA. The new release boasts a light-medium hazy body and real passion fruit flavor that's complemented by light notes of citrus and fruit punch. Brewmaster Victor Novak spoke to the launch, stating "We love brewing IPAs and we’re always looking for new and exciting directions to go. We quickly dove head first into the Haze Craze since we love how they’re so yeast and ester-driven. They’re also lower in bitterness, which allows the big, tropical and citrus notes of our favorite hops to pop. Layering passion fruit to complement the hops just brought the whole thing to another level."
In line with the canine branding that complements the cans, Golden Road Brewing is donating $1 from each six-pack sold to Wags & Walks, an LA dog rescue organization that helps to decrease the number of dogs that are euthanized in shelters.
