Browser Update-Encouraging Sites

The Outdated Browser Website Tells You If You Need an Upgrade

Installing computer updates can be a pain, but it's even worse when you fall behind and have a really outdated browser. In order to help people to keep up to date, the Outdated Browser project was created by Bürocratik, a brand identity and digital design creative agency based in Portugal.

The site's landing page shows five popular web browsers, along with some stats like what percentage of people use them, the latest version number and what operating systems they are supported by. Surprisingly, there are still a lot of people who use Internet Explorer, but very few use Opera.

Outdated Browser also includes a Github file that you can download, which includes some code that will prompt you for an update when it's time to install a newer version of your web browser.
