Youth-Oriented Political Websites

OurSay is Trying to Make Some Democratic Noise in Australia

As one of the participants in 2014's Unreasonable Launchpad, OurSay attempts to harness youth energy by coupling digital connection with hard politics. The goal, however, isn't merely to spur what people imagine to be a generational apathy but rather and perhaps more importantly, the method is to get leaders to speak up and answer the tough questions that are so important to creating political change.

OurSay is a social enterprise that was founded in and is currently based in Melbourne, Australia. The site itself lets you both ask a question and vote for questions you deeply want answered. Part of the noise-making process is done by the crowd but only the most engaging questions get answered.
