These new Ottolenghi sauces have been launched by the brand to build on the range of products from Chef Yotam Ottolenghi and provide consumers with a simple way to elevate their everyday cooking.
The new products includes the Pilpelchuma, Roasted Aubergine & Tomato Sauce and the Sticky Date & Tamarind Sauce, which are each expected to be right at home within the existing range of nine products. The Pilpelchuma is a spicy, smoky Libyan chili paste perfect on meats or in stews, while the Roasted Aubergine & Tomato Sauce is great in pastas or baked with eggs. Finally, the Sticky Date & Tamarind Sauce will help to elevate sandwiches, meats, dressings or stews alike.
Yotam Ottolenghi himself spoke on the new Ottolenghi sauces saying, "It has been wonderful to see how people have responded to our pastes, sauces, herbs and spices range and how home cooks are exploring new and exciting flavours and combinations in the kitchen. These new products are taking the flavour to the next level and I couldn't be more excited to get them out into the world. I am particularly excited for people to taste the pilpelchuma, a deliciously spicy, pepper, garlic and chilli paste that I love and that I think is going to be the next harissa."
