The all-new 'Red Horse Osaka Wheel' that's set to open at Osaka’s Expo City later this summer will soon be Japan's largest ferris wheel and the fifth tallest in the whole world. As well as standing over 400 feet tall, the wheel is impressive for reasons that go beyond its sheer height.
The Red Horse Osaka Wheel will feature 72 carriages with transparent glass panels across the walls and floors, which will give passengers a greater view of their surroundings. The luxury carriages feature designs that will seat six and keep groups comfortable with air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. Inside the cars, there are also tablets broadcasting EXPO TV, which provides information to tourists on the surrounding area.
Two of the 72 carriages are separated as VIP cars, which are slightly more spacious and designed for special occasions like proposals and anniversary trips.
