Addict Caregiver Support Platforms

The Opioid Center of Support, dedicated to fighting the opioid crisis, has launched a free online resource to help the 14.2 million people in the U.S.coping with opioid misuse and the 213 million people in the U.S. that have a relationship with someone with an opioid misuse. As this national crisis continues to escalate, there is an urgent need for an online platform to help those caring for those in need.

The Opioid Center of Support was co-founded by Vera Bullock, who lost her 25-year-old son to an opioid overdose. The platform was developed because currently fewer than 8% of resources are intended for those impacted by the opioid misuse of a friend of family member, despite the strong evidence of the role that community plays in recovery.

Developed with leading medical experts on substance misuse and addiction, the Opioid Center of Support’s platform organizes the most trusted resources on opioid misuse in one place online, for the first time. Through the service, both users and caregivers will be offered access to any resource one might need to aid in a healthy recovery.
