'One with the Birds' by Penda is a multipurpose design. For some it serves as a sanctuary to come and observe these animals, but the firm is aiming for something more than this. With areas designated for relaxation and rest, the bamboo structure could be turned into an abode or even a hotel.
Made almost entirely of bamboo, the design is eco-friendly and sustainable, which is extremely important for architects to be able to produce in today's day and age. Apparently the structure is "informed by the tipis of native americans, [whereby] the triangulated arrangement attaches each element with rope connections, as opposed to using screws, nails, or bolts."
