The OaYeah! pancakes are being launched by UK-based BakeAway as a ready-made product perfect for shoppers to pick up as an easy, delicious and free-from potion.
The product features an oat-based milk alternative in the recipe instead of dairy, and comes in Original and Fluffy varieties to choose from. Each of the products feature a slightly different taste and texture to provide a thick American-style for the Fluffy and more traditional approach for the Original. The pancakes are being launched at Sainsbury's starting on February 15, 2022 for £2.40 per pack.
Marketing Manager Jennie Bosson spoke on the OaYeah! pancakes saying, "We’re delighted to launch OaYeah! in the UK just in time for Pancake Day… We know that Gen Z consumers are passionate about trying dairy-free and healthy alternatives, OaYeah! provides an entry point into the pancake category for these consumers."
