Nutritional Dog Treat Branding

NuBone Packaging Creates a Visual Link Between Bone and Ingredients

I can't imagine ever finding dog food particularly tempting, yet NuBone packaging manages to rouse this with its clean, color-rich and deliciously graphic appearance. When it comes down to it, it's the owner who buys the pup his edibles, so why shouldn't the product's visual identity actually entice him?

In-house designers David Dong-Hee Suhv and Jacky Kaho Ling aimed to appeal to the consumer on a more relatable and intelligible level in terms of communicating the nutrient value of these canine diet supplement treats. Vitamins, minerals, proteins and oils are represented through vibrant photographs of lettuce, chicken, beef and fish, all on crisp white backgrounds. NuBone packaging is made of eco-friendly paper envelopes with cutouts to visually merge the chewy doggie snack with the picture of the scrumptious ingredient.
