Home rental website Airbnb's new office design in Dublin has a reception area modeled to resemble an Irish pub. The office was designed by local architecture firm Heneghan Peng.
The architects designed a U-shaped bar made from dark wood that's similar to the interior of traditional pubs across the city. The "bar" has bottles in a row along the top shelf and stools for seating. A suit of armor is posed at the bar as if it's having a drink.
The office isn't completely bar-orientated; the new office design also features giant wooden steps lined with cushions as informal meeting areas. Meeting pods designed to look like apartments listed on the Airbnb website are also featured throughout the office. The casual design inspires creativity and an open atmosphere.
