Subway Canada and Food Banks Canada Launch Never Miss Lunch

The Never Miss Lunch program is a new initiative launched by Food Banks Canada in collaboration with Subway Canada to raise funds for children experiencing food insecurity in Canada. This month brings a one-day donation drive on June 22nd to support the initiative.

Every footlong sold at Subway Canada restaurants on the selected date will help fund the program. One dollar from each of the qualifying purchases will be donated to the Never Miss Lunch initiative. The program provides nutritious food to kids in need throughout the summer months so supplement meals while many school-based lunch programs end. Never Miss Lunch will be available across 190 communities in Canada, including five fly-in communities in Nunavut. The goal is to alleviate food insecurity among children this season.
