Nestlé Quality Street Tubs are Being Trialled in a New Format

The signature Nestlé Quality Street tubs are being given an eco-friendly overhaul ahead of the holiday season to provide consumers with sustainable alternative to the original metal or plastic containers the brand is known for. The packaging update sees the container crafted out of paper and is being trialled by the brand at Tesco in the UK where more than 200,000 units will be stocked for purchase. The packaging trial comes as part of the brand's commitment to reducing its reliance on virgin plastic and has been extensively tested to ensure it will maintain its integrity across the product's lifecycle.

Senior Brand Manager Jemma Handley commented on the new Nestlé Quality Street paper tub saying, "We’re looking forward to seeing what Quality Street fans make of the paper tub. A lot of care and hard work has gone into the trial and we’re proud to be the first major manufacturer to trial a paper tub at Christmas. The beautiful design has been devised specifically for a paper product and we love how it looks, and of course, shoppers can expect the same great tasting Quality Street sweets that they know and love inside."
