London architectural practice IF_DO has designed a contemporary multi-generational holiday home that will welcome three generations from one family under the same roof. While the concept of multi-generational homes has been extremely popular in Asia in the past, now it is creeping its way to North America and Europe as many realize the importance of family.
The multi-generational holiday home is located in Suffolk, England and it is right next to the beach. The development is officially named Thorpeness Beach House. Spreading out across two storeys, the dwelling includes six bedrooms that are separated into two designated bedroom zones.
IF_DO focused on building a dwelling that would not only maximize views to the scenic outdoors but one that would be practical for the various activities that the clients will be indulging in—from surfing to hiking.
