In true Harrod's fashion, the luxury department store is now offering the most expensive coffee in the world.
The world's most exclusive and debatably best coffee in the world is the Terra Nera, which originates from Quechua located in the south east of the Peruvian Andes. The coffee cherries are from a not so appetizing source of the feces of the civet palm cat. The coffee is a 100% Arabica blend and each year only 45 kg of the exclusive coffee beans are cultivated. There are notes of cocoa hazelnut and dry leather, which gives the coffee a delectable full-bodied flavor.
The flavorful brew is priced between £140 and £6,800 ($225 - $11,000) and for those who who order 500g or more will have their purchase accompanied by a complimentary coffee machine.
