Japanese designer Mikio Sakabe designs a new iteration of the Moopie for Grounds as the latest release. The new looks launched in UJNG, a concept store based in London. There are two new colorways in total -- a black option and a white one.
The shoes are particularly bulbous, especially near the bottom half of the silhouette, appearing as if it is inflated throughout the entire sole unit. The Moopie has five sole unit bubbles that are segmented right beneath the shoe, bulging out in different angles for a dramatic look. The upper appears in the opposite manner, with a knitted construction for a close and comfortable fit around the shoe, done in an engineered pattern for structural support.
